Sharing a booth with a partner

Leer en español

Splitting a booth with a distributor, supplier or sister company is a common way to cut costs, but every show contract below forbids it or requires approval. These rules come from each show's own 2026 or 2027 rules, named in each rule. Ask show management before you plan a shared booth.

What to know

PPAI Expo 2027: no subletting

PPAI says exhibit space may be used only by the contracted exhibitor, who can't assign, transfer, sublicense, sublet or let another company, organization or entity use any part of it.

WVC Vegas 2027: one company per space

WVC assigns each exhibit space to one company of record, which can't share, transfer or sublet it, can't let another party exhibit in it, and can only show goods it makes or sells in its regular course of business.

RE+ 2026: one space, your own products

RE+ bars booth sharing, subletting or reselling any part of your space, allows each company one exhibit space on the floor, and lets you display only articles you make or normally sell directly.

ACT Expo 2027: sharing with approval and a fee

ACT Expo prohibits subletting, sharing or assigning booth space unless show management approves it first. A company sharing your space must sign its own exhibit space contract and pay co-exhibitor fees, and reps from non-exhibiting companies can't work out of another exhibitor's booth.

Partner logos need approval too

At ACT Expo, only products and branding from exhibiting companies may appear in your booth or on show vehicles. Logos, products or branding from a non-exhibiting company need written approval from show management in advance, and a non-exhibitor piggybacking on a partner's booth counts as suitcasing.
