Demos, crowds and the aisle
The aisle belongs to everyone, so shows police anything that spills into it: demos, crowds, models, flyers and people working the floor without a booth. These rules come from each show's own 2026 or 2027 rules, named in each rule.

What to know
- Keep demos back from the aisle
At CES 2027 in the LVCC, demonstrations in 10-foot-deep linear booths must sit at least 3 feet back from the aisle, and at least 10 feet back in deeper booths. Demos judged objectionable for noise, vibration or blocking traffic can be shut down.

- CES 2027: content for a general audience
CES's Good Neighbor Policy requires booth audio, video and live content to suit a general audience and bans explicit or simulated sex, nudity and violence. After a complaint CES can order the content stopped, and if you refuse or a second complaint comes in, it can cut your booth's power or expel you.

- Off-site events count too
ACT Expo 2027 bans outboarding: a company that doesn't exhibit or sponsor may not hold meetings, demos or hospitality events for attendees in hotel suites, restaurants or other venues, and the show can shut them down at properties it has agreements with. Exhibitors' own staff, including contractors, can't solicit in sessions, meeting rooms or common areas either.
