Scanning badges: lead retrieval at a show
At the shows below, attendee details sit in the badge, and reading them means going through the show's own lead retrieval provider. These rules come from each show's own 2026 or 2027 pages, named in each rule.

What to know
- Badges carry the lead data
At SHOT Show 2027, every buyer's badge has a QR code with their registration details, and the only way to capture it is to rent a Maritz scanner or buy Maritz's SWAP app for your own phone or tablet. Order by December 8, 2026 for the advance rate, and order electricity only if you'll charge scanners in the booth.

- Two ways to collect
The Hardlines Supplier Event 2027 offers the Lead Manager app, where any booth staffer scans attendee badge QR codes, and Colleqt, where attendees scan your in-booth QR code to save your details while sharing theirs with you.

ACT Expo 2027 names one exclusive lead retrieval provider in its service manual, says the attendee data you collect may be used only for your legitimate business purposes, and notes that the show itself doesn't sell, rent or distribute attendee email lists.
