Exhibitor badges: allotments, pickup and the traps
Badge rules are set by each show and enforced at the door. These come from 2026 and 2027 exhibitor manuals and show pages, each named in the rule. Register your team early and read your own show's badge policy.

What to know
- CES: use the exact invited email
At CES 2027, your registration coordinator sends each staffer an invite, and they must register with that same email address. Use a different one and you're registered as an industry attendee: you pay the Exhibits Plus fee and can't get onto the floor during move-in or move-out.

- CES: pick up badges before you go to the show
CES 2027 has no badge pickup at its show venues. Everyone, exhibitors included, must collect their own badge first, at Harry Reid airport baggage claim or one of the listed hotels, and each badge carries a recent headshot. CES also requires date of birth and gender at registration.

- CES: a photo on every badge, one company name
CES 2027 exhibitor personnel must upload a headshot when they register, and it's printed on the badge. Every badge in your allotment carries the company name on your space contract; changing it goes through exhibitorsupport@CTA.tech. Staff who register with the wrong email become industry attendees and are charged $149 or $350, depending on when they register.

- Badges come by booth size
Shows ration staff badges by space. MJBizCon 2026 gives four expo-only badges per 100 sq. ft., sells extras, requires a photo on every badge and a photo ID at pickup, and won't let anyone collect badges for someone else.

PRINTING United Expo gives 5 free badges per 100 sq. ft., up to 150, with extras at $30 early or $40 onsite, and approved co-exhibitors share the main exhibitor's allotment.

The Aesthetic Show gives 3 free exhibitor registrations per 100 sq. ft. and charges $350 for each additional one.

- Guest badges can't work the booth
A guest badge is not a staff badge. At WVC Vegas 2027, exhibitor guest badges cover the exhibit hall and evening entertainment only, and guests may not work in your booth or solicit business. Guests also can't serve as booth sitters.

- Hall passes aren't registrations
Some shows give booths two kinds of badge. Each ICBA LIVE 2027 booth comes with one full registration (expo, learning labs and general sessions) and three hall passes good only for the expo on March 1 and 2, and hall passes can't be upgraded.

- Nobody picks up for the team
SHOT Show 2027 allocates exhibitor badges by booth size, doesn't mail them, and requires each registrant to pick up their own badge at the Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum or another listed location. Badges can't be shared or transferred.

- Register through your company's link
At Licensing Expo, admission is free for exhibitors, their staff and contractors, but only through the company's own exhibitor registration link. Register any other way and you pay the admission fee.

- AAOS 2027: five per 100 sq. ft., none for sale
AAOS 2027 gives exhibitors five complimentary badges per 100 sq. ft. and doesn't provide or sell any more, at its members' request. Name changes and exchanges are free; a badge that was already printed must be brought to Exhibitor Registration with proof of affiliation and photo ID.

- IBS 2027: one badge per 25 sq. ft.
IBS 2027 gives one free exhibitor badge for every 25 sq. ft. of contracted space. You can buy up to 50% more at $25 each and another 50% at $75; after that, extra staff register as attendees.

- World of Concrete 2027: by total space
World of Concrete 2027 sets badges by your total space: 10 for 100 to 200 sq. ft., 20 for 201 to 400, 30 for 401 to 800, 40 for 801 to 1,500, 50 for 1,501 to 3,000 and 75 above that. Extra badges cost more, and paid badges aren't refundable.

- International Roofing Expo 2027: $75 past the allotment
The International Roofing Expo 2027 gives 10 badges for 100 to 200 sq. ft., 15 for 201 to 400, 20 for 401 to 800, 25 for 801 to 1,500, 35 for 1,501 to 2,000 and 50 above 2,000, and charges $75 for each badge beyond that.
